CroMAR: Mobile Augmented Reality for supporting reflection on crowd management CroMAR is a mobile augmented reality app to support viewing and navigating across information (e.g. social media, radio comm., photo and video feeds) generated during large public events (e.g. concerts, sports games, talks), directly in-space via an iPad interface. That information is intended to support and promote processes of debriefing and reflection of civil protection workers who are deployed on the field to operate as Coordinators / Disaster Managers.

Capture and share your mood with the MoodMap App! Capturing your mood during work, important meetings or interesting discussions helps you to become aware of your personal mood as well as the collaborative mood of your team. Use the MoodMap App visualisations to reflect on your individual and the team’s emotional state. Improve your daily work experiences: find out emotionally affected working topics or subjects, important issues you and your team are dealing with, or just increase your individual mood awareness for yourself.

CLinIC is a serious game focusing on difficult dialogues between nursing staff and patients. During the game, users have several options of action that will allow the assessment of the parameters “patient satisfaction”, “quality of communication”, “relationship with the patient” and “time management” behind the screen.

The Carer App is a mobile creativity support app with which to care for people with dementia. Care staff can use it to create new solutions to challenging behaviours through case-based and analogical reasoning with recorded good care practices. To enable this to happen the app implements computational creativity services in order to generate content to support cognitive creative tasks by care staff.

The Patient/Relative-Talk-App (PRepApp) developed in WP6 focusses on support for articulation and collaborative reflection for physicians. As a part of their daily work physicians at NBN have to inform patients and their relatives about the current health status and possibilities for therapies of patients after they suffered from a stroke. This are often challenging conversations since telling “bad news” produces emotional stress on both sides.

The TimeLine App, running on Android devices, allows users to capture traces of working experiences in a timeline with the aim to provide data that can be used to promote reflection and learning after the experience. After work users can revisit their experience by using the timeline as an aid to their memory. Through shared timelines, users can get different perspectives on a shared experience and compare their annotations with the ones from co-workers.

Becoming a neurologist in Germany is hard and the required documentation is cumbersome. The DocTrain App makes documentation of specialist training easy and provides a quick overview of progress and open issues. Using the DocTrain app for mobile phones or the DocTrain web-application physicians can capture their progress and share it with their mentor. DocTrain supports the individual reflection about training progress and strategies. Furthermore, it is a valuable tool for reflective discussions in the appraisal interview.

You can see the Task Detection App as your personal time management analysis tool, which shows you how you spend your time and how it could be done more focused and efficient. It helps you to reflect about your past working days and how you develop over time. Everyone who spends most of his working time in front of a computer can use the app to optimize his time management.
