The purpose of the work package is to develop specifications based on open Internet standards that ensure the MIRROR Apps from WPs 3 to 8 can be flexibly interconnected. The interoperability framework delivers also the MIRROR Appsphere from which the users can select, retrieve and use the MIRROR apps in combination with their selected front end platform such as LMS, enterprise portal, social network, personal learning environment or other collaboration platforms (that are confirm to the specified standards).

Update January 2012: The MIRROR Reflection Spaces

Requirements

In WP 2, the interoperability framework for MIRROR Apps is being developed. In the second project year, we are designing and implementing so-called MIRROR reflection spaces using XMPP standards and technologies.
