WP1 aims at providing a scientifically and methodologically common ground of the project partners. It ensures that the Apps which are developed in WP3-WP8 fit to the users’ and organizations’ needs and are able to stimulate reflection at the individual, the collective and the organizational level.

The objectives:

• To provide a reference framework for the development of MIRROR Apps. The framework includes a model accounting for the role of technology in reflective learning processes and a set of conceptual tools supporting App development and their use in the testbeds.
• To improve understanding of current practices of reflective learning, with specific attention to the identification of current challenges and best practices occurring in the five test beds. Issues that will be addressed relate to a better understanding of the role of tacit and explicit knowledge in reflection, interleaving of individual, collaborative, and organizational reflection and learning processes, and the motivational pre-requisites of the intended App-users.
• To identify requirements for MIRROR Apps considering both technological innovation and user needs and aspirations.
• To develop an evaluation framework to be used in the different test beds in order to evaluate the impact of MIRROR Apps on reflective learning at the individual, the collaborative and the organizational level.
