IPHONE 15 PRO: LATEST NEWS AND MORE

IPHONE 15 PRO: LATEST NEWS AND MORE
This is something that Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also emphasizes.

This year is just beginning but there are already expectations about Apple’s next launch, the iPhone 15. Especially after the iPhone 14 and all its variants did not represent a very revolutionary renewal.

As always, Apple has kept the design under lock and key, but some leaks let us know what will happen to the next model of the smartphone. For example, there are expected to be four versions of the iPhone 15: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max (which could also be called ultra).

That is, after the company eliminated the mini model and changed it to the plus, it is expected that this will remain in line. Likewise, the iPhone Max could change its name to Ultra, something that the company already did with the Apple Watch, or even create a new model. Now, we will see the features that are expected in the new family of smartphones.

According to reports and rumors, Apple will seek to differentiate the base versions from the Pro more than ever. That is why the notch is expected to remain in the 15 and 15 Plus versions, while the stainless steel finish will only be for the Pro models. This is something that Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also emphasizes.

Kuo believes that this segmentation of the models is done with the idea of making the base models a kind of secondary product with respect to the ambitious variants. This could also justify a price increase for the Pro copies.

In this sense, the iPhone Ultra would have a titanium finish, very similar to the Apple Watch Ultra, and with a fourth camera sensor whose functionalities are not known at the moment xxx video. On the other hand, the Dynamic Island is also expected to remain in the new models.

THE NEW FEATURES

Although for now what is known are only rumors, it is speculated that the iPhone 15 will be one of the great revolutions of the smartphone so far. There are several surprises, such as the idea of more rounded edges. Check out all the features that have been leaked:

THE USE OF USB-C

This is mandatory by the European Union. However, it implies that the 14th generation was the last with a Lightning port. Apple already uses this port for some of its iPad models and in all of its Macs.

TOUCH ID

This would be under the screen, and would serve as a complement to the next generation of Face ID.

PERISCOPIC ZOOM

Apple has lagged behind in this technology that is already implemented by its rivals, such as Huawei. This type of zoom has the advantage that it allows greater magnification without loss of quality. Likewise, the camera sensor would continue to be 48 megapixels.

A NEW PROCESSOR FOR THE PRO VERSIONS

According to rumors, Apple would include the new Apple A17 Bionic in the pro versions, and would leave the Apple A6 Bionic of the iPhone 14 in the iPhone 15.

SHADE WITH ROUND EDGES

Likewise, it is said that Apple will reduce the bezels, which would add the curved frames in the pro versions, similar to those of the Apple Watch.

ESTIMATED PRICES AND EXPECTED RELEASE DATE

As is tradition, the iPhone 15 models are expected to arrive during the first weeks of September. On the other hand, after this year’s price increase, prices are expected to remain the same, except for the Pro model. These are the estimated prices:

  • iPhone 15: from 1,009 euros
  • iPhone 15 Plus: from 1,159 euros
  • iPhone 15 Pro: from 1,319 euros
  • iPhone 15 Pro Max: from 1,469 euros
  • iPhone 15 Ultra: 1,999 euros

TELEGRAM ADDS CRYPTO TO ITS SERVICE

TELEGRAM ADDS CRYPTO TO ITS SERVICE

Telegram has done it again. Once again it shows the world that it is much more than just a messaging app. After innovating in the market with tools such as animated stickers, it is now coming up with a proposal that promises to change everything.

According to official sources, the company stated that it is already in the process of developing a platform for the auction of usernames, using various cryptocurrencies as payment methods. The statement also reports that this project is already in its final phase and it may not be too long before we see the result.

THE PRECEDENT: THE TELEGRAM NETWORK

It all started about 4 years ago, when the company initiated a decentralisation project, under the name “The Telegram Network”. However, legal problems associated with the intellectual property of the ton.org domain (The Open Network) limited the company’s plans.

To avoid another lawsuit and the possible loss of the ton.org domain, it was decided to shut it down in 2020 and disassociate itself from it. It did this by separating all of its businesses into individual entities, each with its own leadership and resources. Once this was done, he enlisted the help of Telegram to regain control of ton.org.

THE PRECEDENT: THE TELEGRAM NETWORK

This experience created in Pavel Durov, co-founder of Telegram, a special interest in the ability of this platform to make revenue from domain auctions, and he even mentioned his interest in incorporating Web3 into the project.

And so, after a few years of development, Telegram announced through its official channel the final stage of development of its new platform, through which usernames can be acquired through crypto auctions.

A MILLION-DOLLAR BUSINESS

But … wait a minute, selling names? user auctions? Could such a business really work? Just take a quick look at the precedents, just from “The Open Network”.

If you think about it, the company’s plan is not far from what is already known today as buying domain names. Some of them have been bought for exorbitantly high amounts.

Likewise, the TON platform once held an open auction of names for its wallets. The initiative was especially profitable, finding cases such as “casino.ton”, which sold for more than 200,000 dollars.

This fact, considering Telegram’s platform of more than 700 million users, represents a particularly juicy and attractive business opportunity for the whales of the Internet. Especially when we consider that Telegram currently only allows the registration of one user with the same name. This includes: channels, users, video porno, etc.

telegram A MILLION-DOLLAR BUSINESS

This being one of the messaging apps of the moment, where more and more brands want to be, it would not be surprising to see a powerful bid between two major forces, for example. The same would happen with two celebrities or multimillionaires willing to pay anything to have the username they always wanted.

And you, would you be willing to give everything in your wallet for the most sought-after username on Telegram?

WHAT IS THE MOST SECURE MESSAGING APP?
Apps mobile

We live to communicate. Thanks to the current innovation in ICTs, our modern society conceives as deviant the individual who does not care at all about things such as the Internet, social networks or messaging applications.
Whoever likes it likes it, we are slaves to Whatsapp, Telegram or Signal, which have a leading role in our daily lives similar to that of toilet paper.

For this reason, and understanding that its use is daily and that it serves as a window to share how much information we have, it is not surprising that we worry about what will be the most secure option.

WHATSAPP IS THE MOST POPULAR, BUT NOT THE MOST SAFE

We know that applications like WhatsApp or Telegram currently boast of being unbreakable due to their end-to-end encryption protocol, which prevents a third party from accessing your private conversations. Certainly, although with their clear differences, each one has a similar version. This is stated by Manuel Sánchez Rubio, a doctor in Computer Engineering and a specialist in security and obtaining information on social networks.

However, Sánchez Rubio himself affirms that the “security” problem is not exactly there, where the big companies want us to look.

To understand it better, it is enough to reflect a little about the new privacy policies implemented by WhatsApp and that came into force as of May 15, 2022. Outside of users located in the European Union, all those who currently use WhatsApp, they do so having agreed to the platform sharing their data and information with their parent company. A track. His name starts with F (or M?), and he loves blue.

This only deepens the distrust that many had already felt in 2014, when Facebook decided to buy WhatsApp and make it part of its social network ecosystem porno français. In response, more conscientious users decided to move to alternatives like Telegram, which currently have these and many other features.

WHAT ABOUT TELEGRAM?

Before talking about any function that Telegram may or may not have to provide a more friendly or secure user experience, let’s remember one thing: it is an application behind which, like any other, there is a company trying to profit. Therefore, we must assume that, if they do not take your money, they take something equal or more valuable from you, in exchange for an efficient, playful and free service.

I think we know what it is: information. It is not unreasonable or conspiracy to think so. We talk about facts.
According to Sánchez Rubio, we have maximized the interest, use and attention that we put into social networks, and now we see the consequence of it. Faced with the latent need to “want to be part” of “what is happening in the world (Internet)”, we decided to ignore the fact that there are those who silently spy on us.

WHAT ABOUT TELEGRAM?

From his perspective, Sánchez Rubio condemns modern society for its optimism in the face of these platforms. A naivete where we let ourselves be fooled by the ludic, and we forget the densest implications, the problems that nobody wants to worry about.

So, to wrap up the question: what is the most secure messaging app? The answer is simple: none. They are all just as safe and just as dangerous, because releasing your information into the vast data network that the internet connects already leaves you exposed.

Faced with this, Sánchez Rubio suggests an efficient and much-needed digital education as an alternative, especially in the use of technology at a young age. Only then, he wants to think, can we be (or at least feel) a little safer in this digital world.

Less Technology Is Giving Drivers Fewer Headaches

One would think that technological advancement always results in greater benefits – right? It turns out that it’s not the case for vehicles. Research by J.D. Power Study revealed that mainstream brands such as Honda, Toyota, and Ford are easier for drivers to use. The study involved 29,487 participants, all original owners of 2019 model-year cars. The researchers discovered that the infotainment systems were singlehandedly the largest source of problems reported by the car owners.

The Trends: Mainstream vs. Luxury

Long-term dependability is crucial, with many owners holding on to their vehicles for more extended periods. The study revealed the significant gap between the best and worst brands. Kia owners reported about 145 problems for every 100 cars included in the survey, translating to 145 PP100. The bottom-ranked Land Rover had almost twice the reported complaints by Kia, with 284 PP100.

The average for vehicles covered in the 2022 vehicle dependability study was 192 problems for every 100 cars. It was shocking to see mainstream car companies like Toyota, Chevrolet, and Kia outscoring luxury cars like Lexus, Mercedes Benz, and Cadillac by an average of 190 vs. 204 PP100.

The leading reason for this trend is the digital technology they use. Automobile manufacturers are always in a rush to improve the systems. However, some are doing much better than others at ensuring that the vehicle’s mechanical, interior, and exterior don’t cause any problems to the drivers.

From the review, infotainment was the most problematic feature. That has encouraged car companies like Land Rover to roll out new infotainment platforms with a simplified screen menu xvideo, easier pairing with mobile devices, and hands-free operation.

Another key finding is that Japanese automobile manufacturers have lost their reliability and quality significantly. While Toyota was the fifth in the power study and Lexus was the sixth, many familiar Japanese brands like Nissan and Honda were below average.

Korean cars, which have been perceived to have lasting quality for several years, grabbed three of the top four positions. General Motors, which also struggled with a reputation for poor quality over the decades, led the study by ranking second.

Finding a Balance

Although vehicle owners still experience conventional mechanical issues like faulty engines and transmissions, they are far less common than a decade ago. Today’s digital technology carries a higher likelihood of failure.

Built-in voice recognition systems were a leading concern in the research. Infotainment systems were the most significant cause of consumer complaints. However, issues with Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity, and Android Auto also carried the day regarding the number of complaints.

Car manufacturers now need to find a balance. Although users want more high-tech features, they also care for safety and ease of use. Therefore, it’s essential to find innovations that balance wants and needs.

Moving forward, manufacturers need to consider solutions such as Amodeo notes and smartphone-style over-the-air updates. While these innovations may not necessarily eradicate the issues, they will offer automakers new ways of sending updates without requiring the consumer to visit the dealerships.
